The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has announced Bob Coomes, graphics, pre-press and print specialist at PPC Flexible Packaging, as chair of the upcoming 2025 FTA Technical Conference. A respected leader in the packaging and printing space, Coomes brings decades of experience and insight to the planning and execution of this premier technical event.

The 2025 FTA Technical Conference, set to take place in Orlando, FL, September 21-23, will gather industry professionals from across the flexographic printing supply chain to explore emerging technologies, process innovations, and practical solutions driving the future of package printing. As chair, Coomes will lead the development of the conference’s agenda, helping to shape content that meets the evolving needs of press operators, prepress experts, engineers, brand owners, and business leaders alike.
